CLIENT MONEY PROTECTION
We are members of the Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme.
The scheme is run by the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) which provides compensation to landlords, tenants and other clients should an agent misappropriate their rent, deposit or other client funds.
Under the membership of this scheme we are required to keep client money in a segregated client bank account.

THE PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN
We are members of The Property Ombudsman Scheme who provide a free, fair and independent service for dealing with unresolved disputes between letting agents and consumers.
The TPO is a member of the Ombudsman Association and follows the standards and rules of the Association.
The Ombudsman is totally independent of agents and reports directly to the TPO council.
Your complaint will be considered by the Ombudsman if you believe the agent has infringed your legal rights, failed to follow the rules and regulations under any code of practice to which they subscribe, treated you unfairly or been guilty of maladministration (including inefficiency or undue delay).

DEPOSIT PROTECTION SERVICE
We are members of The Deposit Protection Service which is the only custodial scheme authorised by the Government.
In April 2007 it became law that all assured short-hold tenancy deposits received by landlords and letting agents must be protected in a Government authorised tenancy deposit protection scheme.
The scheme is open to all landlords and letting agents and provides a safe place to hold tenant deposits.
Membership requires that the deposit is physically paid over to the scheme for them to safeguard for the duration of the tenancy.
The deposit is repaid at the end of the tenancy when both parties have reached agreement on its distribution.
An impartial dispute resolution service is also available to resolve any dispute quickly and without the need for court action.

GAS SAFE REGISTER
We are members of the Gas Safe Register which is the official registration body for all gas engineers and businesses in the UK.
The Gas Safe Register provides a list of gas engineers who are registered to work safely and legally on gas appliances.

ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL INVENTORY PROVIDERS
We are members of the Association of Professional Inventory Providers who are a voluntary regulatory body for the property inventory industry.
A professional independent property inventory should be undertaken prior to letting a property and also on end of a tenancy contract, once a tenant vacates the property.
High resolution photos and detailed descriptions should be used to ensure the property is handed back to you, the landlord, in the original condition (save wear and tear).
A signed property inventory is a legally binding document which can cover you against costly damage and court cases.
